As one would expect from a system of this standard, configurations with higher storage densities are also possible. Featuring extremely versatile and robust slide-in carts, Cart Pushback is capable of handling a diverse range of storage containers and load carriers-from metal containers to various types of wooden and plastic pallets as well as a host of customized solutions. Advantages Although Pushback has been designed as a dedicated LIFO system, it can also be used for buffer purposes, i.e. for the interim storage of goods later to be transferred to dynamic FIFO-based systems. In this case, the last batch to be stored within the Pushback system would subsequently become the first to be transferred to the dynamic storage area and the first to be available for picking.
